KU Leuven

KU Leuven is the scientific and project coordinator of M4GIC-ILC and brings together expertise in breast cancer pathology, molecular oncology, radiology, bioinformatics and biomedical AI. Its multidisciplinary team combines clinical knowledge of ILC with advanced digital pathology, multimodal modelling and foundation-model approaches.

Main role in M4GIC-ILC

KU Leuven has the broadest involvement across the project and leads several technical and coordination activities. In particular, it leads development of the virtual 6-plex IHC model from H&E and contributes strongly to pathology foundation models, molecular prediction, cross-modal modelling and the multi-agent system. As coordinator, it also leads portfolio and project management activities.
