Institut Curie is one of Europe’s major cancer research and treatment centres, combining fundamental, translational and clinical cancer research with specialised patient care. It is particularly strong in breast cancer, pathology, digital diagnostics and translational oncology.
Main role in M4GIC-ILC
Institut Curie provides extensive ILC pathology, radiology, molecular and clinical datasets and brings specialist expertise in the pathological diagnosis of ILC. Its team will coordinate the central pathological review and digital standardisation of ILC, helping ensure consistent diagnostic criteria and high-quality whole-slide imaging across the consortium. It will also contribute to multimodal AI development and validation, particularly models integrating pathology, radiology and molecular data for diagnosis, staging, prognosis and treatment response.
Importantly, Institut Curie is the lead of the Development of Diagnostic and Staging Models from Unimodal/Multimodal Data, covering pathology, radiology and integrated diagnostic/staging models and their validation.
